Parliamentarians meet with industry leaders to discuss skills, growth, and major energy infrastructure
Last week, the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Project Delivery, brought together parliamentarians and industry leaders to discuss major infrastructure, energy, and skills.
With the tone set by the government’s announcements on nuclear infrastructure, the conversation couldn’t have come at a more pertinent moment. Parliamentarians were able to explore the how to change perceptions around major projects, ensuring infrastructure projects bring wider benefits, and the crucial link between investment and skills needed for projects to succeed.
A huge thanks to our speakers for joining us and helping to drive forward the conversation:
Andrew Cockcroft, Head of Stakeholder Relations, Hinkley Point C (EDF Energy)
Terry Meighan, Infrastructure Director, Rolls-Royce
